WASHINGTON - The Venetian researcher Giulia Biancon, from Caorle, received, at the Italian Embassy in Washington (USA), the "ISSNAF Italian Scientists and Scholars of North America Foundation" Award, as the best young Italian researcher in the USA in the field of blood cancer research.
In particular, as part of the highest award given to Italians working in the United States, Giulia Biancon was awarded the "Paola Campese Award for Research in Hematologic Malignancies".
The young researcher is engaged in her postdoctoral studies at Yale in the field of cancer research with important scientific breakthroughs.
