New York - Comites New York has received additional funding of 151,000 euros from the Directorate General for Italians Abroad to support two projects: "Colors, Flavors, and Memories," a documentary, and "Stories and Comics." These initiatives aim to enhance the historical role of Italian communities in the United States. The committee is currently seeking professionals in various fields, including communication, marketing, comic strip creation, production, editing, photography, and more. The projects aim to convey the value of Italian heritage to both international and Italian audiences, especially young people. The documentary focuses on Italian immigrants and their traditions, while the comic book tells stories of Italian immigration in the United States, using unique illustrations and real-life inspiration.
