LONDON - The Consulate General in London will host a meeting on June 21st titled "Being Italian in the UK: Experiences of 'Second Generations'." Marco Antonsich and Kombola Ramadhani Mussa from Loughborough University will present initial findings of their study on the sense of belonging and national identity among Italians of African, Asian, and Latin American descent in the UK. Funded by the British Academy and Loughborough University, the research explores how the concept of a nation evolves with the changing population due to global migrations.
