LONDON - The new ordinary session of the London Comites has been convened next Thursday, 26th of January, which will be in a hybrid version: it can be followed in person (by sending a request to participate to segreteria@comiteslondra.info) at the premises of the Italian Church of San Pietro located in 136 Clerkenwell Road (London EC1R 5DL) or live online directly on the Facebook profile of Comites London.
The proceedings will begin at 18.00 and will follow this agenda: approval of the minutes of the previous session; presentation and approval of the 2022 final budget; participation of the Comites in the appointments for the issuance of passports; presentation of the project on local Italian communities in the UK by Compitaly; update on current projects and proposed new projects including discussion and approval of the contents of the second video on Comites activity in 2022; webinar on the transition from Pre to Settled Status”.
Among the points to be discussed also webinars/interviews with experts on the following topics: working visa, student visa, summary of the immigration system in the UK; presentation of the next 3 webinars on multilingualism; awareness campaign on the non-compulsory payment to make an appointment at the Consulate; update on the letter sent by Comites to the Consulate in support of the Woking consular agency; new proposal for the section "In conversation with..."; proposed reorganization of activities on social profiles; SPID/Settled Status project update; various and possible.
The public will be able to ask the chairman and the directors questions relating to the topics of the session (compatibly with the closing time set for 20.00) by sending the questions in the days preceding the email segreteria@comiteslondra.info or by placing them in presence or in the comments of the live online.
